Night Market at Changmai

Day 6
Nov 17, 2013
Changmai, Thailand

There was nothing planned for our second day at Changmai so we spent it walking and biking around the city center, which we reached via a taxicab for 600 Baht. We had coffee break at J.Ju coffee,  lunch at Huen Phen where the food was cheap and ok but nothing extraordinary, and dinner at Henry Restaurant where the decorations were very fancy (photography was not allowed, we were informed rudely by the head waiter or possibly owner),  food was actually good but the service was just terrible - it took almost an hour for all our orders to be served and the crew was just rude.

Huen Phen
Fried Chicken and Green Mango Salad

Henry Restaurant
Mango juice, Spring Rolls and Cashew Chicken

Later that night, we went to the street market where everything you can imagine that can be sold in a street market was being sold in that very long and wide street.  We shopped for hours and even begged asked the hotel driver to allow us to stay for another hour before bringing us back to the hotel.
