Caramoan
We spent the 2nd day island hopping around Caramoan. The first stop, which we reached after an hour, was at one of the best sandbars in the Philippines - Manlawi sandbar. Unfortunately, we did not even get to see the sandbar - it was high tide. We just rented one of the floating huts and ate the lunch we brought with us there.

Next stop was at Sabitang Laya island - which was a bit disappointing. While the water was clear as expected, the island was surprisingly littered. Also, the beach on one side of the island was full of corals and was not suitable for swimming. Even more surprising was when the tour guide told us this was the last stop of the tour!

Overall, it was a bit disappointing that we were not able to see the best of what I imagined Caramoan offers - no sandbars and no Gota island. Several franchises of Survivor could not be wrong in choosing Caramoan so I am pretty sure that there was much more to see here. I just need to plan my next trip here better.
